Job Description

Start your career in fiber-optic installation with NDDF Solutions in Manchester, Concord, Nashua, New Hampshire. Help connect homes, activate internet service, and solve connection problems.

No prior experience is required. We provide free training and help you obtain tools and arrange a rental vehicle. W-2 and 1099 opportunities are available. Choose your schedule in coordination with the team and tell us your preferred state for placement.

Responsibilities

• Install fiber-optic services at residential customer locations
• Install and route aerial and buried fiber drops
• Connect and maintain MSTs, terminals, NIDs, and slack boxes
• Perform fiber splicing and fiber connections
• Install and activate ONT equipment
• Set up routers and Wi-Fi equipment
• Test optical signal levels and internet connectivity
• Troubleshoot fiber, ONT, router, and connectivity issues
• Educate customers on basic equipment and service operation
• Complete job documentation and installation records
• Follow safety procedures and company installation standards
• Travel to customer locations as required

Requirements

• Willingness to learn FTTH and fiber-optic installation
• Beginners and experienced applicants are welcome
• No prior FTTH experience required; free training will be provided
• Valid authorization to work in the United States
• Basic computer, networking, electrical, or technical knowledge is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical installation tasks
• Ability to learn and use basic hand tools and fiber-testing equipment
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to follow safety procedures and installation standards
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to travel to customer locations as required

Preferred Experience

Experience in fiber-optic, networking, electrical work, customer service, or field service is helpful but not required.

Travel Requirements

Travel to customer locations is part of this role. Tell recruiting your preferred state; placement is coordinated with available projects.

Vehicle Requirements

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. We help arrange a rental vehicle. Discuss suitable vehicles, rental costs, and terms with recruiting before starting.
